The Story of NANA

My name is Yeşim. I was born in Bursa in 1993. I studied Fashion and Design, specializing in Women’s Wear Pattern Making during high school. At university, I chose a different path and completed my education in Economics. Although my professional career evolved across different sectors and creative fields, fashion has always remained an inseparable part of my life.

Over the years, even when I was not actively pursuing fashion as a profession, a growing passion lived within me. When the time was right, that passion resurfaced — and that moment marked the birth of NANA.

The name of my brand comes from a word my daughter Lina often uses. Lina calls my mother “Nana.” In Greek (Pontic dialect), Nana means grandmother. For me, this word represents roots, heritage, warmth, and the bond between generations. That is why naming my brand NANA felt deeply meaningful.

NANA is not just a brand; it is built with women’s labor, care, and passion.

Our entire production process is carried out by an all-women team, in a hygienic environment that meets high quality standards. Each piece is produced in limited quantities, with meticulous attention to detail.

For us, quality is not a choice — it is a stance.

Unlike fast fashion brands that rely heavily on synthetic materials such as 100% polyester, we prioritize natural, breathable, and high-quality fabrics. Every piece is designed to be respectful to both your skin and the environment, offering longevity, comfort, and timeless appeal.

NANA is a story that merges the elegance of the past with the courage of the present. While reinterpreting timelessness, simplicity, and refinement, I place emotion at the heart of every design.

Each piece carries a memory, a connection, a feeling.

Because NANA is not only a brand — it is a story, a soul, and a legacy.

Welcome to the world of NANA.
